KSIAtea 2019
Internationalisation diagnostics were initiated in 2019 to provide companies with an in-depth picture of their business that would help them to face international markets. Some 56 requests were received: 53 were accepted into the diagnostic phase. In terms of company participation by historical region: 45% from Biscay, 44% from Gipuzkoa and 11% from Araba. With regard to the participation of each sector of the cultural and creative industries, KSIAtea has significant representation from all CCI sectors. There has been a significant number of applications from the performance arts (20%), audiovisual projects (18%) and the music sector (16%).

May 30th. Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián)
Public presentation of the KSIAtea project
The official presentation took place in Tabakalera. In addition to introducing the project, statements were gathered from companies which have seen benefits in the internationalisation process in the cultural and creative sector. Said statements may serve as an example to companies about to begin the process.

September 26th. IDOM (Bilbao)
International business and marketing model for the cultural and creative industries
A session for analysing value propositions from the businesses and discovering marketing strategies for foreign clients.

October 18th. Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián)
Distribution, collaborations and international networks
The conference explored different ways of reaching international markets from an internationalisation perspective. In addition, delegates discovered possibilities for developing alliances and cooperation between businesses.

November 8th. Álava Chamber of Commerce (Vitoria-Gasteiz)
International hiring and taxation
This conference addressed hiring and taxation in the internationalisation process for businesses in the cultural and creative sector.

November 21st. Historical Archive of the Basque Country (Bilbao)
Funding and intellectual property
The conference looked at matters related to intellectual property in the internationalisation process for businesses in the cultural and creative sector, and the funding possibilities for the cultural and creative industries.

December 17th. Tabakalera (Donostia-San Sebastián)
Information search methods for internationalisation
We discovered the keys to getting the most out of information search tools to foster business internationalisation.
